the very lazy progress and planning process of making my save file - only parts of these builds are done, i am going pretty big on the realism / small (mountain? forest?) town vibe but it does feel a bit lacking in warmth at times so im trying to substitute that with nature so lots of trees.

i am really excited to get this part of the save done too because i want to show it to all of you so bad lol but im struggling to find that balance between realism & Still feeling like sims 4. which is really difficult honestly.

i think the girl i like likes me back but the idea of making the first move and being in a relationship and being vulnerable makes me sooo scared. any tips for getting over this or do i just have to do it scared .

A thought occurred while watching night mind go through the welcome home update and idk how to articulate so I’m just gonna drop the thesis and hope ya'll get what i mean.

A big deal is made this update of how Julie woke up early for spring, but she didn’t. The narrator woke her up.

What's Anatomist up to lately? (I miss my bae)

They are mainly working, occasionally getting annoyed at how evolution makes things more difficult for them to work on

it's reference to the recurrent laryngeal nerve. The fun thing about it is that it's the nerve that innervates the muscles in the larynx, but it detours around the aorta on its way from the brain to the voice box. This is especially noticeable in larger animals where the heart and the voice box are far apart. For example, in giraffes, the structures are only a few centimeters apart, but the nerve can get 5 meters long because it travels all the way down to the chest and then loops back up. This is a result of how structures evolved from fish (with no necks) to large animals (with large necks). Evolution can't just "unplug" the nerve and optimize it, so next best thing is to gradually adjust over time

oh man these past two weeks of work have been Brutal. my usual per day walking mileage is 3 miles per shift, but I've been up in the 4-5 miles per day range, and that doesn't include the amount of lifting and other strenuous things I've had to do..... Boss wasn't kidding when she said it would go from slow to fast overnight lmao
